What is a stabilizing link?

- Stabilizer links (also called sway bars, sway bars, or sway bars) are components of a vehicle's suspension system designed to reduce body roll and improve handling. By connecting the left and right sides of the suspension together, the front stabilizer link helps prevent excessive lean during cornering, providing a smooth ride even over rough pavement. Rear stabilizer links, on the other hand, keep your vehicle stable while you drive. While vehicles equipped with multi-link or MacPherson strut suspension systems are considered independent suspensions, allowing for a smoother ride, they need to be linked together for better handling and control. Since they hold all four tires firmly to the ground, they also improve steering response and reduce tire wear.
